About time I acctually started a journal don't ya think?

Firstly I'd like to point out that the reason why I joined dA last year and haven't posted anything till just recently ... I joined because of a friend I met on [link] Neffy [link] but with everything that was going on at the time (was completing my Advanced Diploma of Screen in Game Art) I didn't end up doing anything with my page, I just surfed dA a while and checked out alot of people's work for a bit. And then I forgot about it for the longest time ...

Just recently I have begun to design an indie game with a few friends from the course I completed and while surfing for inspirational material I stumbled across some pages from dA once again (in particular pages of [link] and [link] and few others). This gave me the urge start posting some of my work up here, I haven't posted anything old apart from my first image and may never as I'd like to post mainly current work. Of course most of the work I'm currently doing for our indie game I'd like to keep under wraps for now as we're still in the conceptual stages and haven't completed our design documentation. Once this is completed we'll definitely start posting more up on our pages.

For those who are interested in helping with our project (currently non-for-profit, more for our portfolios to get into the industry) please post your interest to my journal and we'll discuss more in private.

For those who want to know more about it, all I'll say at the moment is that it's a Pet Sim game ... No real twist at this stage we're just shooting for something reachable for a small group to do in a reasonably short time while we're doin part time work and still developing our skills. This will give us a chance to work on characters, environments and maybe some special effects, placing them into a game engine and hopefully getting it to work

At the moment our group consists of several artists and one programmer (who probably won't be working much on it till he completes his University studies and returns from Europe next year), I'm acting as game designer and team leader for now.
